Michael Gabriel Reyes Ocando was born on October 10, 1995, in Caracas and feels like the older brother of his groupmates. From a young age, he felt a deep passion for music. From a very young age, he sang songs in the car with his mother and showed a particular affinity for music. Although initially, music was a hobby, over time, Michael understood its influence and power in people’s lives, which intensified his interest. The musical influence also came from his family, with an uncle who was a singer, which further inspired him. About seven years ago, Michael began taking singing lessons to perfect his vocal skills. Despite opportunities in acting, including a leading role in a successful Venezuelan soap opera called “Para Verte Mejor,” his true passion has always been music. Over the last five years, he released several songs, including two tracks in collaboration with the producer George Noriega, known for his work with Ricky Martin and Shakira.

Juan Guillermo Domínguez Arismendi (Jota G.) was born on December 20, 2001, in Caracas, Venezuela. His journey in music began at the early age of four when he started playing the guitar, bass, piano, and singing. Currently, he is pursuing a career in audio production. Despite spending his childhood in Los Teques, Miranda state, Venezuela, he identifies more with Valencia, Carabobo, where he lived during his adolescence and where his family currently resides. After living in France for almost two years, where he initially planned to study computer and electronic engineering, Juan Guillermo decided to follow his true passion, music and returned to Venezuela. He has been living in Miami for two months now. Despite a brief detour into computer and electronic engineering in France, music has always been an integral part of his life. Ultimately, he realized that music was his true passion and chose to pursue that path.

IGNACIO

Ignacio Adalberto Mendoza Hernández, known as Happy, was born on July 5, 2004, in Lechería, Venezuela. Music was always present in his family from a young age, but it wasn’t until he was 14 that he considered it his vocation when he discovered his passion. From that moment, Ignacio began playing the guitar and producing his own music, falling in love with the creative process. Despite differences with his parents, who urged him to finish school before fully dedicating himself to music, Ignacio officially embarked on his musical career in 2020 in Venezuela, forming a band and performing in various states of his country. Later, he moved to Miami, where his mother had been living for two years, and received a call from Frank, who showed interest in his career and introduced him to the HeyBroders project. Initially, Ignacio was unsure about joining a group, but after understanding the project’s vision, listening to the music, and meeting the other members, he decided to give it a chance.

ANTHONY

Gerald Anthony Arauz Tijerino, also known as G Anthony, was born on January 15, 2002, in Managua, Nicaragua. His musical journey began later compared to some of his peers. Initially, he focused on composition and writing, creating poems in school and experimenting with rap with friends and siblings. Over time, his interest in music grew, and he found it a form of expression and peace. Anthony played a crucial role in the inception of the “Hey Broders” project by presenting a song called “Relación” to the producers. From there, the project’s story began to take shape, with the idea of creating a fresh and unique cumbia group in the genre. He arrived in Miami about a year ago, in November, after living in Las Vegas. His move to Miami was driven by the opportunity and potential of the musical project that was taking shape in the city.
