Saban Music offers you your Playlist for the weekend!
We know that music always helps us to cope with the stress that comes with the obligations of the week, that’s why we have created a playlist for you with our most popular artists of the moment with a small biography of them so you can get to know them.
1. INÉDITO – Beet Acosta

In this playlist, Beet Acosta is important to us. He is a Venezuelan artist (specifically, Maracaibo) who currently lives in Orlando. His music has a great Latin influence, in which you can hear instruments such as the Venezuelan Cuatro and even rhythms and melodies that correspond to the reggaeton genre. Beet’s path in the world of music began at a very young age during his childhood in Maracaibo, thanks to the influence of his father.
Since 2018 which launched his solo career, Beet has gained recognition with songs like “Rosas” and “Peshosha”. She is currently signed to Saban Music Latin in 2023. Her latest release, “INÉDITO”, shows her charisma mixing Spanish verses, Venezuelan Cuatro style rhythms and tropical beats. Be sure to give it a listen!
2. Otra noche – CHESCA:
Our second place is Chesca, who was born and raised in Puerto Rico, surrounded by a very music-oriented family. She discovered her passion for music and entertainment when she was very young, inspired by icons such as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin. By the age of 10, Chesca was preparing herself in different entertainment academies, and when she turned 11, her father made her the lead singer of his cover band “Flashback”, where she had the opportunity to sing in front of audiences of all ages.
Chesca had a boating accident that almost cost her her life, however, she continued to attend rehearsals and concerts during her recovery, including 14 reconstructive surgeries. Despite the odds, she did not give up on her dream.
3. Ramayana – Don Omar (ft. Farruko):

Our third place and one of the most valuable people in this playlist is Don Omar, who is one of the first artists in the reggaeton genre. With more than 25 years of career, his songs have always differed from his peers in the urban genre, as they tend to be socially conscious, profound, and thought-worthy pieces with melodic verses that attempt to convey messages for citizens of Latin America interested in the political situation of their countries.
In 2017, he announced that he would retire after a series of concerts at the José Miguel Agrelot coliseum in Puerto Rico. Instead, he continued his presentations with “Ramayana” ft. Farruko, the song that topped the Latin charts.
4. El Río – Loyal Lobos:
Andrea Silva is a singer and songwriter under the moniker Loyal Lobos, who grew up in the outskirts of the Colombian capital, Bogota. Her experiences as a young adult have helped her create poetic music that alludes to love, sexuality and femininity. Andrea was first introduced to music by her preschool teacher, who made her a soloist in the choir for every school funeral and graduation. She then began attending guitar lessons, and music became her most important ally in processing emotions. He moved to Los Angeles when he turned 18 and there, Loyal Lobos was born.
“El Rio” builds over a sparse, hypnotic beat as a sound of synthesizers and guitars propels him into a soulful pop banger. Singing in Spanish, Loyal Lobos cleanses the pain of loving and losing in love. The song and its video, directed by Elizabeth Miranda, are a manifestation of moving on and growing from heartbreak; a river purifies and brings new beginnings.
5. Traigan alcohol – Yubeili x Nacho:
Yubeili is spearheading the urban music movement in Mexico today, that´s why we must have her in this playlist. His versatility as a writer and vocalist allows him to effortlessly navigate through a wide range of genres. His song “Traigan alcohol” was released on September 8th of this year, in collaboration with Venezuelan singer and Latin GRAMMY award winner, Nacho.
We hope this playlist makes you enjoy, recognize Latin talent and check our blog more often for Saban Music news!
